Greetings and welcome to my secret world.  In this secret world where I indulge in various art forms, I would like to share one of my secrets, and that is the materials I have used for numerous past projects. These special materials have been mostly from my nature walks.  Things that I found along the way such as leaves, rocks, splinters of bark, tree twigs, and other things mother nature has provided.  And while while enjoying my hikes, these things along with the scenery are what gave me inspiration.   From these I have created Wind chimes, Walking sticks, Sculptures, Skull paintings, and various forms of Jewelry as well.   Each piece was a remembrance of where I had been, and by adding my personal touch I was able to capture that memory forever.

Along the way on my nature walks, I often wondered how it would be like to live in a magical land with wood sprites, talking trees and a forest kingdom filled with marvelous creatures of all shapes and kinds.  After many years of my work with animals, rehabilitating everything from birds to horses, that work has finally taken its toll on me physically and rather than letting these things win, I see it as an open door to creation.  At last a bit of relaxation with the animals that I still have, and an opportunity to daydream in that secret world to find the perfect inspiration to create my next unique piece of art.

I have been a freelance artist for many years and my favorite media I would say is still watercolors and painting on canvas, however I also enjoy the specialty items I am contracted to create from time to time.  It brings a smile to peoples faces knowing their piece is unique and original which gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
